1/144 HGUC #196 Gouf Revive ver.

Pros:
- The model kit is generally an easy to build and a great improved upon the old HGUC Gouf.
- The overall aesthetic appearance of the assembled kit is good with the right proportions.
- The mono eye is a sticker, but the plastic piece can be moved to add some dynamic feeling to the model kit. a good improved for the Gouf, and a nice touch.
- The articulation is generally good and way better than the old HGUC Gouf. The head is on a polycap and can go up and down easily. sideways movement is good. The shoulder armour is have a good movement range giving the arm more area to go up and bend it for around 90 degrees. The skirts are moulded individually allowing more movement areas for the legs.
- The kit have a good amount of accessories consisting of an extra head, shield, 2 heat swords, heat rod, exchangeable hands, gun hand.

Cons:
- Even while the skirts are individually moulded and provides extra movement space for the legs it won't give you the ability to move the legs real high for aerial and more dynamic poses for example.
- Moving the waist forward will pop up the ball joint and upper body will come off.

Overall, The HGUC Gouf revive ver. was a needed addition to the HGUC line as fans of the original series wanted newer version of the old 1/144 HGUC Gouf that offers more articulation options, and more accurate proportions, and a better range of accessories. The HGUC Gouf revive version was a good addition to my collection and I do recommend it for Universal Century or the original series fans. a 3.5 out of 5 for me.
