The most immediate thing to note is just the perfect sculpted proportions of the kit and the colour separation is great that stickers on the actual gundam just go as far as the eyes and the head cameras, though there are opportunities to add in detail with regular Gundam markers such as in the vents throughout the head, body, skirts and legs. Not to mention that this kit is very solid in its construction.

 

Articulation:

The awesome proportions with it's crisp angels and subtle curves really compliments its equally awesome articulation. Thumbs up for revived kits :DThe head is mounted on a double ball jointed poly cap piece, giving it the ability to look super far up! 360' head rotation (Though do be careful of the rear head armor plating) and side to side tilts.

The arms are mounted to the body via a ball joint from the shoulder piece itself. While the bulk of the armor hinders its direct mobility, the construction of the frame compensates for this by adding in a poly cap from within the torso. This allows the entire shoulder and arm to swivel out, in, rotate and to some degree, rise upwards.

The arm can rotate all around, the elbow can bend at just pass 110' and the fist has a ball joint.

The body has an ab crunch and can swivel side to side and even rotate a little, until it hits the waist.

Front skirts are molded together, yet can be separated, and like the side skirts, have a wide range of motion that don't limited the legs/thighs. The back skirts don't move as they are molded as one piece.

and look, even  a kneeling pose! Most HG kits can't even do this!

The legs are attached hinge piece mounted on the waist. This piece can swivel and rotate independently from the body, in addition to the legs themselves being on a peg, poly cap joint having really great articulation on their own. They move outwards really far, both front and side wards yet not a whole lot back.

The knees are double jointed from the top and the bottom giving the leg a really great bend. The feet are attached by another hinge piece from the top, which enhances the ball joint at it's base, giving it a wide range of movement too!

Accessories:

Of course this is the Aile Strike gundam, so naturally it comes with the Aile Striker Pack which can be attached to the back. Though it's important to note that the red panels on the wings are actually covered by stickers. You can substitute them with a simple paint job.

The wings can be folded down and the thruster pods can swivel in any direction being mounted on ball joints.

On the pack itself are two slots which house in Beam Sabers, and yes you do get two clear pink beam blades

 

You also get the 57mm High Energy Beam Rifle which just fits into the hard, the standard shield of the GAT-X models which can be mounted on either arm with the connection port at the elbow.

 

And two small Armor Schneider assault blades which sadly cannot be stored on the side skirts like the previous HG kit, still quite nice to fit into the gripping hands.

Overall, the HGCE Strike Gundam is such an amazing kit. A great build, fine proportions and details, with great colours and all the great accessories included for such an inexpensive cost really makes this a bargain! The wide range of articulation combined with awesome accessories give you an almost endless possibility of achievable dynamic poses which looks great on all angles of the Strike Gundam!

now if only we could get the Grand Slam....
