Otaku ME's first themed event!
We bring you a couple of highlights from the recent "Otaku ME Modeler's Cup: LEOPalooza", a themed competition based upon customizing the recently released 1/144 HGAC Leo kit from the Gundam Wing Series, a timeless classic design that tests your skills in customizing the basic outlook for a Gunpla kit.
Entries:
Modelers were encouraged to #ThinkOutsideTheKit here as just about anything for the competition goes to bring out their creativity and imagination from Kitbashing to custom detailing and weathering!
In just a matter of a few weeks, multiple entries were ready for the event.
Assembly lineup:
While judging took place, The modelers and their guests participated in our LEO assembly line, building one section of the kit per group at a time.
A complimentary Otaku ME tool set was also given out to participants to aid them on the task of putting together an army of 60 LEOs, which was done in a record time of just under 4 hours!
Congratulations to the winners!

Winning the Trophy, an AED 500 Voucher and 3 LEO kits

Third Place: William Navarro
