The HG 00 Diver Ace unit got a decent upgrade compared to the first release. A more color-accurate v-fin clear part and a whole lot set of accessories.

The main unit itself is based on the old High Grade 00 kits, and if we're talking about 00 Gundams it only means that this particular kit has some decent reputation.

As expected from a High-Grade kit the color accuracy may not look great without adding the stickers and by adding the stickers sometimes it may look a bit off. But don't worry, most of the parts that need to be stickered are mainly from a small section of a kit. So instead of using the stickers that it came with. It is better if you do some minor painting or by using a set of Gundam markers will do as well.

The use of panel line markers is a must because the surface details are great. And when it comes to articulation, the 00 Diver Ace has a lot to offer. Attach all those accessories and it can still literally do a lot of decent action poses, whether it is on the ground or with an action base.

Even if the kit is almost perfect, we can still face some issues. The ankle armors are a bit loose, the beam saber handle can be easily fall off from the back skirt, and the hands that it came with are not quite compatible with the swords. They tend to fall off over time. But the good thing is, all those issues can be fixed with some minor treatment.

For those who got the first release, I'd suggest that you get the support unit. Or if you still don't have one, get this set now!
