Meng brings us their 1/35 scale U.S. Assault Tank M4A3E2 Jumbo scale model kit! The M4A3 is a variation of the M4 Sherman, and the E2 version features reinforced armor with a maximum thickness of 15.2cm, developed to counter German anti-tank guns; 254 of this tank have been produced. The body structure is welded, and the engine is a Ford GAA V8. The tank comes from the factory with a 75mm gun, but over 100 have been modified with 76.2mm guns via on-site renovation (this model is equipped with the 75mm gun).

The workable tracks included with this kit include the "duck bill" attachments, used to reduce ground contact pressure due to the increased body weight from the armor. Photo-etched parts and metal cables are also included; in addition, the first production run of this kit includes a metal gun barrel (this will only be included with the first run of this kit; if yours does not include this item, it was not part of the first production run).
