The McLaren MCL60 is a Formula One car designed and built by McLaren for the 2023 season.

The car debuted at the Bahrain Grand Prix, driven by Lando Norris and rookie Oscar Piastri. Initially, the MCL60 proved uncompetitive, with aerodynamic problems and tyre degradation, leading to Key's departure and development being taken over by Peter Prodromou and Neil Houldey.

Significant improvements made at the Austrian and Singapore Grands Prix improved the team’s performance, resulting in nine podiums and four sprint wins.

By the end of the season, the MCL60 was established as a well-rounded and competitive car, serving as the only consistent rival to Red Bull’s dominant RB19.
