The AE86 generation of the Toyota Sprinter Trueno made its first debut in May 1983, which employed the FR layout when the FF layout was getting standardized in the car industry. The 2T-G engine used in its predecessor was replaced with the newly developed 4A-G, and both the Levin and Trueno variants were offered with either a 2-door coupe or 3-door liftback body style. The AE86 with its 4A-G (a.k.a. "Hachi Roku" which is “Eighty Six" in Japanese), holds a high popularity even today among car lovers.
This assembly model kit features working pop-up headlights and spring suspensions. Tail lights and blinkers are molded in clear red and orange plastic. Window trim masking stickers for painting are also included.
